You can use either a computer or smartphone to stream Oculus Quest 2. We will look into both methods.

Method 1 – How to stream Oculus Quest 2 to Twitch using

Step 1 – Turn on the developer mode on Oculus Quest 2

Turn on the developer mode on your Oculus Quest 2. You can follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Log in to using your Facebook account where your Oculus is connected
  2. Click on “My Apps” in the top right hand corner once you log in and then create an organization name
  3. Enter your organization’s name. It is needed to get a developers account, put any unique name. As we are not going to be developing any app, it is safe to do so

  2. Download the Oculus ADB drivers in case you are on a Windows PC, skip the install if you are using a Mac or linux PC
  3. Open the downloaded folder and install the “android_windusb.inf” file

  2. Open the menu from the bottom right corner of the app

Step 2 – Connect Oculus Quest 2 with PC and download the Sidequest app
